KUTTA RADIOS

Kutta DRUM® radios use cables, wires, tracks, and pipes to create survivable, redundant communication paths underground that extend for miles. The DRUM® is a wireless medium frequency radio system that works whether mine power is on or off, post-incident, and even through obstructions.

TECHNOLOGY OVERVIEW

Complete installation of the DRUM® system can be achieved in a matter of hours, and offers mine operators the lowest cost-per-foot of any communication system on the market. The Kutta DRUM® radios fulfill the MINER Act requirement for a redundant, secondary, wireless communication system, and are Part 23 certified by MSHA.

KUTTA LINK RADIO - KLR-200

The Kutta “LINK” radio allows First Responders to seamlessly communicate with operational and tactical command posts using their existing radio equipment in challenging environments such as subway tunnels and high-rise buildings.

The DRUM® 100 Rugged Compact Portable (100RCP) is a standalone medium frequency (MF) radio that provides high quality voice communication in subterranean environments.

DRUM® 100R REPEATER - 100R

The DRUM® 100 Repeater (100R) is a VHF or UHF to Medium Frequency (MF) cross-band repeater that bridges UHF or VHF radios into a medium frequency channel for long-range underground communications. The DRUM repeater interoperates with other DRUM repeaters and DRUM Rugged Portable Medium Frequency radios. The Cross-Banding functionality enables building upon and extending the coverage of existing investments in common handheld radios or leaky feeder systems.
